Dear Daylily Friends,

Whew! What a year this has been
for us. After having a couple meltdowns just before our region 14 spring
meeting, everything went off without a hitch. It was lots of hard work,
but what a joy it was to see so many people that enjoyed their visit
to our gardens. I also want say a great big thanks to Elaine Alito for
driving over 350 miles, giving up a whole week of vacation and allowing
us to work her from can to can’t each day. We could not have gotten
through without your hard work and support! Thank you dear friend! To
Paul Aucoin, Kabby Collins, Coral and Wayne Kincaid, Ramona Titus and
Pat Boissenault, thanks for all your help! Paul it was so much fun getting
to know you more. Thanks Judi for sharing him with us for a few days.
Kabby, my friend! Thanks for coming crippled and still working so hard.
Coral and Wayne, all the way from Canada! How great was that. Hard hard
workers. Pat and Ramona are from Maine. What fun it was to finally get
to meet someone you have been chatting with for years. Thanks to you
both for all your help and support! What wonderful friends we have been
blessed with all because of a beautiful flower called the daylily. As
we enter 2009 we hope to meet and make many new friends! Please make
plans to stop and see us if you’re in the neighborhood. We’d
love to meet you! The gardens are open Wednesday through Saturday during
bloom season. If you are traveling and want to visit at a different time,
please call ahead. We will be glad to arrange a time for you to visit.
Ric and I look forward to seeing our old friends and meeting many new
ones!
We hope as you browse
the website that you find something you just can’t do without.
We
are inspected by the Alabama Dept. Of Agriculture and guarantee our plants
to be healthy and true to name. If for any reason you are dissatisfied,
do not plant them. Contact us right away for a cheerful replacement or
refund. We want happy customers!
No minimum order is
required. Be sure to give us your requested shipping date and a long
list of bonus or substitution plants. We will ship on Monday and Tuesday.
Once again, we are giving you a choice. If you have limited space and
would rather not have a gift plant, the shipping is on us (US customers
only)! If you would rather get that surprise plant or plants in your
box, please see the shipping rates on the 2009 order form.
We
also offer gift certificates. What a wonderful gift they make for
that “special
gardener” in your life.
TO OUR CANADIAN CUSTOMERS:
Thank you! It was such a fun year shipping to everyone. I’ve
enjoyed meeting many new customers from all over Canada. Thanks
so much for your support and business! We treasure you! The phytos
at this time are free and shipping rates will be as close to cost
as possible. We had fairly good success shipping USPS to Canada
this year. We will continue to ship UPS or USPS. UPS rates have
gone sky high and so I won’t be so quick to recommend them
any longer. Your shipment will arrive much faster, but at a pretty
high fee. As we have learned, the daylilies are pretty hardy and
can sit for several days in a box as long as they are dry before
shipping.
To Michaela: My “webmistress” and
friend! What would I do without your talents!! Thanks once again
for taking care of us. I’ve
just got to somehow slow you down. :o) YOU’RE THE BEST! Michaela
is in Dundas Ontario, Canada and has a wonderful selection of daylilies. Be
sure to check out Fairyscape Daylilies on our Links page.
HAPPY GARDENING,
Ric and Tee
